Please note that this is a Birkenstock sandal with a wide foot bed. We recommend this width in slippers only for wide feet or with a high instep. A standard narrow foot bed is sufficient in flip-flops.

Then this soft version with extra foam layer in the foot bed is definitely for you. The soft foot bed absorbs the shocks when stepping and takes away the pressure points under the foot.

Although Birkenstocks size large, you probably need your usual shoe size for slippers with soft footbed.
